Emilia Larraechea (she / her)

I am a Chilean psychologist based in Utrecht, with a postgraduate specialization in psychoanalytic adult clinical practice. I have worked with people navigating trauma, anxiety, migratory grief, gender-based and sexual violence, and the complexity of building a life in a new country.

My approach is psychodynamic and draws from a gender perspective. I am interested not only in your inner world, but in how the systems and structures around you shape your experience. I believe that suffering always makes sense in its context, and that therapy is a space to explore that without judgment.

I am also currently studying Literary Studies at the University of Amsterdam. Language and the narratives are fundamental in my work. I pay attention to how we have learned to name our experiences, and to the new meanings we can build together in that process.

I work online and in-person in the Netherlands.
